Just finished How to Date a Werewolf! Too funny! I just love your humor! My favorite part was when Rylie’s naked rear end was sticking out the window as she was sneaking back into her office! rosie-red .. my daughter was born on HALLOWEEN in 1970 .. we named her WEDNESDAY (noooooo .. she was not named after the little witch on the Adams Family) .. these were my ‘hippie years’ (lifestyle .. not bodystyle!!!) and her dad was into ‘white witchcraft’ (soooooo he said!!!) i wanted a unique name .. one where everyone would always know who she was no matter if she were in school, a job or anywhere else in life. (oh lordy! “I” grew up in the 1940′s with the name FRANCES … there were always about 5 girl frances’s and 3 boy francis’s in every class i was in!!! AND … television was a new phenomenon and let us not forget the TV star: FRANCES THE TALKING MULE!!! i was told she would hate this unusual name and be teased all her life!!! i taught her to LOVE the uniqueness of her name and she did .. and she does not recall ever being teased by schoo lkids … they actually loved it! well .. she became a ‘lawyer’ .. and said the ‘only’ person who has ever raised a quizzical eyebrow was an elderly JUDGE .. who in court, looked up at her and asked: “What the hell kind of a name is WEDNESDAY!!” (old fart!). well, anyhoo .. i submit WEDNESDAY as a ‘good witches name’!!! xo, frannie

I wouldn’t want my name in it anyway, I would use my kids names, Lane and Faith. Faith Lane sounds more like a country singer than a witch but you never know she could be very against type. I think my name would be a good character, because it means ‘she who entangles men’ in Greek, and it was a famous character who was cursed to tell the future, but never be believed, for refusing to sleep with a God…. Or so one way it is told. Plus another form of Cassandra, which can be spelled with a C, or a K by the way, is Alexandra. There are lots of nicknames too, such as Cassie, Cassia, Cass, Casey, Andria, Sandy, and so on. I love my name, and maybe you will too!!!
